International Shipments
NB: ***All International orders are currently shipped via United States Postal Service due to increasingly high shipping rates with FedEx, UPS and other global carriers***
The good news is that we have also introduced a single flat rate, regardless of how many pieces you buy, you will only pay the shipping once. The bad news is that the USPS service is a little slower and less attentive on the delivery side as the parcel will come with your local mail delivery.
All of the artwork is shipped insured at no cost to you, so we will replace anything that is damaged or lost.
If you want to ship faster (three days or less) using our FedEx International Priority service please just place a note in the comments section of your order or email us at art@gapingvoid.com and we will contact you with a quote for your shipment.
International shipping has become very expensive, and some people think that it is a profit center for us. We guarantee you that it is not!

MY BUSINESS MODEL
I remember some twenty years ago, a well-known poet whose name escapes me, talking on the radio about the subject matter of his poetry.
He said that the older he got (and he was already an old man), the only subjects he still found worth writing about were, “love, longing, religion and ambition”.
I thought that was a wonderfully concise overview of “what really matters”, not just to that poet on the radio, but to anyone, really. So much so, that I wrote the four elements down on a business card, and carried it around with me for years. Hey, if I was stuck for something to write about, maybe I could write about one of those...
Part of having an interesting life is knowing what actually interests you, and then making what you’ve picked an interest that can evolve as you evolve, that grows as you grow. Otherwise you’re just chasing the latest shiny object.
And then if you can take these interests, and somehow turn them into a viable business models, you’re never bored, and you’re never poor. And then life is good, better than most.
So I made this drawing as a totem to that- a reminder to find your passion, wherever it may be, and go for it. Find something you love and excel at it, of course, but do it in such a way that keeps opening new doors for you. Exactly.
